This is a good place for family get together.Amazing lake views and not so cold lake water during the summer.
Very helpful for trail info. Also suggesting to get bear spray, after 3 run ins on the first day, wish we had stopped here from the getgo. Safe but scared... Buy Bear Spray!

Cameron Lake is fantastic, I highly recommend bringing some lunch and spending quite a bit of time here. You can rent paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, etc. The water is warmer than your normal glacially fed lake so it's very nice to swim in as well (beaches are rock, so bring shoes). Also the lakeside trail is a fun walk for everyone of all ages. It can get a bit windy at times so I also suggest bringing a wind breaker.
