The rooms where old and cramped. No t.v. my baby was crawling on the floor and got absolutely filthy. The carpets need replaced as they are beyond cleanable with dirt and dust from over the years. Looks nice from the outside but is in dire need of some renovations on the inside. It could be very nice.
I absolutely loved staying here! I'm not sure what some of the other folks staying at this lodge expected space wise, it's a mountain lodge. But while it's not super spacious, our room was cozy and we didn't feel like the size of the room was a problem. Bathrooms though small were nice! It also had a nice patio out front that faced the main street and lake. Felt very homey and cozy at this lodge.
Great place to stay. Very friendly staff. My wife and i got married on the front deck of the Crandle
Went to rent canoes but wad closed already for the season
