We ordered a wonderful appetizer. The flatbread and it was great but then nothing else was delicious. My wife couldn't eat the Caesar salad as it was so bland. My almost $50 6 oz fillet mignon was also not that good. The tacos my wife had was not tasty and I couldn't even finish it as I didn't like it either.
Probably one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. Beautiful view, great server (Matt is a gem), delicious food.
We were very disappointed with this restaurant. It looks fancy has prices of a high end restaurant but the food was substandard and the service was really poor.
The people at the next table got a wrong dish and the waiter argued with them and we even knew the waiter was wrong. He was our waiter and was there only to pick up a paycheck and was one of the worst waiters we have ever had. He was around 20 yo and the chophouse is obviously desperate.
We recommend just walking across the street and eating at Trappers. Even better is go to Prince of Wales restaurant as the service is great and the food amazing.

Second time visiting this place. This time I ordered the short rib. It was awesome. We wanted the off the grill steak but unfortunately it's only available after 5. And we tried again the Saskatoon berry pie - looks good eh!
Excellent place for dinner on the patio with a view of the lake. Kids can play in the lawn and it's just a fun spot. Food was above average but not exceptional.
